PLEASE CONSIDER
TOURNAMENT SPONSORSHIP

We would like to ask your support for the annual Junior League Softball World Series in Kirkland, Washington.

In 1998, Little League Baseball Inc. created a new division in its softball program, the Junior Softball division for girls 13 and 14 years old. Since then the World Series has been at Everest Park in Kirkland and has been a huge success. ESPN televises the championship game. Our goal this year is to build on and exceed the level of success from past years.

The teams that come to this World Series will be the respective regional champions from the East, Southwest, Southeast, Central and West Regions of the USA, and the champions from Canada, Latin America, Europe and the Asia Pacific. We will also have a local host team to increase local interest.

As you can see from this lineup, this is truly a world gathering of 13- and 14-year-old softball players. The teams will be in the area for nine days. Our annual budget is approximately $100,000, all of which goes to the needs of the teams; food, hotels, uniforms, transportation, etc. There is no paid staff; the series is run by a committee of dedicated local volunteers.

The support you provide will generate local, national and even worldwide publicity, since the tournament experiences and the tournament program will go home with all participants. In addition, sponsors are given prominent exposure on our Website.

We have established three ways you can contribute: individual/company sponsorships; advertising in our tournament program; and individual contributions. We have also established an individual/company Recognition Program for all donors and sponsors/supporters. See our pledge form for the details of the different levels of support and recognition.

Any money or donation of services provided in support of this World Series is made to Little League Baseball, Inc., an IRS 501 (c) (3) certified organization, and thus may be fully tax deductible. Depending on an the tax circumstances for you or your company, there should be a tax benefit.

We hope you can support the Junior Softball World Series this year. Please contact me if you have any questions.
