The teams competing in this year's World Series will be determined in regional tournaments this summer, representing the following regions:
- Asia Pacific: Indonesia (declined to send team)
- Canada: Layritz Little League, Victoria, B.C.
- EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa):Prague Little League, Prague, Czech Republic
- Latin America: ASOFEM Little League, Maunabo, Puerto Rico
- U.S. Central: Escanaba Little League, Escanaba, Mich.
- U.S. East: West Haven Little League, West Haven, Conn.
- U.S. Southeast:Honaker Little League, Honaker, Va.
- U.S. Southwest: Eagle Pass Softball Little League, Eagle Pass, Texas
- U.S. West: Nunaka Valley Little League, Anchorage, Alaska
- Host (District 9, Washington, U.S.): Kirkland American/National LL
